Associate Advisor
Responsibilities:
- Associate Advisors enter a training program that includes fundamental and technical instruction. They will also receive real time training through working directly with senior advisors who have five plus years experience in the field. Responsibilities include analysis of clients business and financial objectives and coordination with Senior Advisors, Planning Department and Investment Department to create financial plans and investment proposals. Candidate must be capable of managing implementation of complex financial plans, including interaction with accountants and attorneys. An Associate Advisor must be committed to retaining existing clientele over the long-term. This is not a sales position, though it involves extensive client contact through joint work with Senior Advisors and requires preparation of unbiased needs-based product research when applicable. If candidate shows the ability to sell and maintain relationships on their own, promotion to Senior Advisor is possible after a minimum of three to five years.
Requirements:
- We are seeking ambitious, service-oriented professionals who are comfortable in a highly autonomous environment. A college degree and two to five years financial planning experience is required. Candidates must be securities and insurance licensed. Applicants must possess a proven intent to pursue a career in financial planning, excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior analytical abilities and strong work ethic. It is essential that candidates find it rewarding to help others achieve their financial goals and align with our financial planning and client service philosophy. The Associate Advisor must be comfortable interacting with and maintaining relationships with high net worth clients.

Financial Advisor
GV Financial Advisors is looking for Financial Advisors who are able to form very close client relationships based on trust, respect and appreciation. The successful candidate will have the ability to take our clients through an in-depth data gathering process and use that data to help our clients detail and map out their own financial futures.
Requirements:
- There are certain qualities which lead toward success as a GV Advisors. We are seeking advisors who have a natural proclivity toward and aptitude for financial planning. We are looking for individuals who have strong interpersonal skills, who can flourish in a highly autonomous environment and who are ambitious and service-oriented. Successful advisors must be confident, able to think conceptually about what steps are going to benefit their clients, and capable of moving the financial planning process forward to action. We require a four year college degree and securities licenses, and we prefer two to five years of relationship building experience.

Client Service Associate
The successful candidate will have experience providing administrative support to financial advisors.
The job responsibilities for this position include:
- Preparing paperwork for client meetings
- Completing applications
- Delivering seamless implementation of services and products
- Taking client calls
- Filing
- Taking meeting notes
- Drafting and proofreading letters & email communications to clients
- Keeping advisors and associate advisors informed of the status of various projects
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
- Miscellaneous other administrative duties
While a Series 7 and the Life & Health insurance license are not required, they are strongly preferred. This position requires strong communication skills, a high degree of detail orientation, and a great deal of diplomacy.
